Spinning Tree Theatre presents Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Featuring young artists alongside professional performers.

Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s gripping musical thriller, based on the characters created by Christopher Bond, comes to life in this bold and haunting production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Wrongfully exiled for years, Sweeney Todd returns to London seeking vengeance against the powerful judge who destroyed his life. Above a struggling pie shop on Fleet Street, he forms a dark partnership with the resourceful Mrs. Lovett, and together they unleash a chilling tale of obsession, revenge, and moral collapse.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest musicals ever written, Sweeney Todd blends a soaring, operatic score with razor-sharp wit, unforgettable storytelling, and gothic theatrical spectacle. Suspenseful, funny, unsettling, and deeply human, this Tony Award-winning masterpiece is a thrilling theatrical experience.
